Learn More About Crystals
For most crystal virgins and some who are interested in getting to know some of the crystal healing properties…what best way to get your crystal knowledge on? Give a podcast or an app a chance.
Personally, I love listening to a good informational podcast to kick start my morning. Louise Hay’s morning meditation centers me on another level. I mean she really says “hey you selfish bitch, be grateful for your amazing life! But accept the dark as much as the light. Get it together!” But I also like to keep up with crystal meanings and basically add to my never ending collection. Here are a (2) easy technology driven outlets to help you on your journey:
LOVE & LIGHT LIVE: CRYSTAL HEALING PODCAST
Ashley Leavy takes you through a short 10-20 minute description of well known and unknown crystals. She even breaks down the difference between stones, crystals, and several properties that make one unique. I LOVE this podcast! Let me tell you why - I mean she really breaks it down in a simple ethereal manner. I mean this chick is graceful with her words. With that said, she provides examples of how you can best use the stones in everyday life by zodiac association, flower companion, best essential oil, and its related natural element. Episodes are followed by an affirmation or meditation. For many, this can be helpful for spells and/or can compliment your existing altar. For me, it’s 20 minutes at most of absorbing as much information as you can. Can you say obsessed?
STONE: Crystals, Iluminated
The STONE app is fairly popular. Here’s what makes this app awesome - your search options! You can search by name, VIBE, and identify by photo. I feel like I can really connect with commentary when it’s real and it speaks your language. Stone really does that. Need a Crystal for a break-up? Sure - grab some Aragonite! I love the little jabs and profanity. They say people who cuss are usually more honest. So just give it to me straight! What kind of energy do I need to work with to get out of this funk? Two takeaways from the Stone App : easy searching and cool descriptions.
Thanks for listening!
